Broadband Internet
Broadband is a common term used to describe any High Speed Internet connection.
These broadband connections are typically always-on connections which means there is no "wasted time"
waiting for the connection to be established.
A typical installation consists of Three to six pieces of equipment depending on your needs.
1. Subscriber Receiving Unit, which is mounted outside.
2. Network Cable "Cat5E" is run from the Subscriber Receiving Unit to a power box "POE" inside the house that provides
power to the Subscriber Receiving Unit.
3. From the "POE" Network Cable is used to send signal from the Subscriber Receiving Unit to your router or computer.
