mac mail

 

1. Select Mail / Preferences.
2. Click the Accounts button, located at the top of the window.
3. To add a new account, click the plus (+) button, located in the bottom left corner of the window.
4. Click the Account Type drop-down menu, and then choose one of the following: To use a POP server, select POP.
5. Enter the following information: Description Enter a descriptive name for the account. Email Address Enter your entire email address Full Name Enter your first and last name. Incoming Mail Server Choose one of the following: Enter the POP server name: mail.wavecomm.com User Name Enter your entire email address Password Enter the password for your email account.
6. Click the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop-down menu, and select Add Server. (Note: You may have difficulty sending mail if you have more than one SMTP server listed in the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop-down menu. To delete unnecessary servers, select Edit Server List from the drop-down menu.)
7. In the Outgoing Mail Server box, enter the outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.wavecomm.com
8. Replace the default Server port 25.
9. Click the Authentication drop-down menu and select Password.
10. In the User Name box, enter your entire email address
11. In the Password box, enter the password for your email account.
12. Click the OK button.
13. Close the Accounts window.
14. When prompted to save your changes, click the Save button.


Outlook Express

 

In Outlook, go to the Tools menu and click on Email Accounts.
Select Add a new email account and then click Next.
Select POP3 and then click Next.
Enter your email information:
Your Name: your name
Email Address: Your wavecomm email address
Incoming Mail server (POP3): mail.wavecomm.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP): mail.wavecomm.com
User Name: your email address
Password: the password for the email address
Click on More Settings and select the Outgoing Server Tab.
Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Click Ok.
Click Next.
Click Finish.


Eudora

 

In Eudora, go to the SPECIAL menu and select SETTINGS.
In the Options window, you will see several icons on the left. Select GETTING STARTED.
In the USERNAME field, enter email address (XXX@WAVECOMM.COM)
In the MAIL SERVER field, enter the mail server (mail.wavecomm.com)
In the REAL NAME field, type your name the way you would like people to see it when they get e-mail from you. For example, John Doe.
In the SMTP SERVER field, enter mail.wavecomm.com
In the RETURN ADDRESS field, enter your e-mail address. (XXX@WAVECOMM.COM)
Click OK.


Windows Mail

 

In Windows Mail, go to the Tools menu and click on Email Accounts.
Select Add a new email account and then click Next.
Select POP3 and then click Next.
Enter your email information:
Your Name: your name
Email Address: Your wavecomm email address
Incoming Mail server (POP3): mail.wavecomm.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP): mail.wavecomm.com
User Name: your email address
Password: the password for the email address
Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Click Ok.
Click Next.
Click Finish.


Entourage

 

Entourage
1. Open Entourage.

2. From the 'Entourage' menu, choose 'Account Settings'.

3. Click the 'Mail' button and click on 'New' button.

4. Enter your full email address username@wavecomm.com. in the 'Email address:' field. Click on 'Configure account manually'.

5. Enter 'Your Name' as you want it to appear.

Enter your full email address username@wavecomm.com. in the 'Email address' field.

Enter your full email address username@@wavecomm.com. in the 'Account ID' field.

Enter your email password in the 'Password:' field Enter 'mail@wavecomm.com.' in the 'Incoming mail (POP3,IMAP) server field.

Select 'POP3'

Enter 'mail.wavecomm.com' in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP) server' field.

Click on the 'Right arrow' to continue.

6. Click on 'Verify My Settings' to have Entourage test your settings.

Click on the 'Right arrow' to continue.

7. Enter a name for the 'Account Name' for Entourage to display.

Click on the 'Finish' button.

8. Congratulations, you have finished setting up your email account!
